AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Didactic Media has been created to address the following aims and objectives:

  • To research, develop and present a new and challenging programme which attracts international interest in promoting debate for social change through documentary, docudrama and diversity using didactic dialogue.

  • To promote innovation and talent  in the production of documentary,  dialogue and use of docudrama as a medium for dialogue

  • To attract producers and directors from all over the world to support Didactic Debate as a movement and a medium for exchange.   Our links with the cultures and producers based in the Indian Sub-Continent and Africa will offer our programmes a special dedication but over the next few months we also aim to extend our boundaries to capture interest in all markets.

  • To collaborate with European and International Documentary Festivals   and to offer special insights to audiences relating to our views didactic dialogue.

  • To establish a Board of Advisers and individual sponsors whose contribution in kind will be equally valued as financial support

  • To establish a Panel of Sponsors whose remit will be to act as ‘critical friends’, to help us produce value for money and to build confidence that the financial support we seek will be entirely ‘mission-led’.

  • To promote the use of the three vehicles for communication – documentary, docudrama and dialogue as the essential components of the same aim- promoting social change for beneficial outcomes.

  • To create, develop and implement a graduate and student interaction platform. The core of work is to be carried out by graduate and student volunteers from all countries. The scope for payment will be explored when the project begins to generate revenue.

These objectives are under constant review. Comments to promote critical debate are welcome. A interactive website is to be created shortly. Comments can also be posted at the website.
